Music Ministries: Opportunities for Adults

Chancel Choir

Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30

Music Location--Choir Room

     The Chancel Choir prepares special music and provides leadership in the 9:45 a.m. Traditional Worship Service.  This group also prepares music for special services during Christmas and Holy Week.  While auditions are not required, commitment to rehearsals and Sundays is important.  Come by and get to know us as we prepare to share the beauty of God's music with others.

     The Chancel Choir also has opportunities for instrumentalists.  Many of the works we perform have instrumentations that range from small ensembles to full orchestrations.  Please contact Marc Lau if you have an interest in sharing your gifts with us.

New Hope House Band

Wednesdays from 6:30-7:00

Music Location--Sanctuary

     The New Hope House Band is the praise team that prepares special music and provides leadership in the 11:00 a.m. Contemporary Worship Service.  This group is comprised of singers and instrumentalists.  We have resources for string, woodwind, brass, and percussion players.  The NHHB primarily performs contemporary songs with a few of the most well known traditional hymns played in a modern style.  This group is dedicated to praising God with spice and zeal.  Please contact Marc Lau if you are interested in auditioning.    

Special Music 

     The Music Ministries at New Hope also have opportunities for those who are interested in playing or singing solos, duets, quartets, etc.  Please contact Marc Lau to set up an appointment to discuss what you would like to share with our congregation.
